Amidst the crumbling ruins of Vortiga, Oberfeldwebel Konrad Stahl of the Death Korps of Krieg stands resolute. His long-las rests steady in his grip, the barrel still warm from a precise execution of the Emperor’s will. In his other hand, a Krieg regimental banner flutters defiantly in the toxic wind, the sigil of his war-torn homeworld stained with dust and blood. His rebreather mask hides all but the cold efficiency in his eyes as he scans the ruins for his next target. The siege may have reduced the city to rubble, but Stahl remains—a ghost in the wreckage, a harbinger of death for the enemies of mankind.
